Accomodation at Trovern Bian: Self-catering holiday house at Le Guerzit in Plougasnou.
The sea can be seen from the living-room and the bedrooms upstairs
The house itself is devided in two parts so it is like a semi-detached apartment (smaller part next to the garage). The other part is only occupied at the weekends, when newcomers are arriving, and out of holiday time. So our guests are on their own most of the time. The terrace, garden, lawn and all the vicinity are at their disposal and they can use them as they please.. |
| |
In front of the house , on a large slated terrace, guests can find a table and garden furniture, so that meals may be taken outside when the weather allows. A barbecue set is available in the garage. |

The living room.
The living room (sitting room and dining room) is about 25m2. It is simply but comfortably furnished. From the window in the north-west you can have a view to the sea. The south-east opening brings in more sunlight.
| |
The bedrooms |
Two bedrooms on the first floor, with a pretty good view to the sea through velux windows.
The larger is a double-bedded one.
The smaller is a twin-bedded room. The beds are separated by a cupboard where bedclothing can be kept.
So there is accomodation for 4 people, usually a couple and two children.
Sheets and pillowcases are not provided but all other bedclothing is.
Access to the smaller room is through the larger one.
All the photos inside were shot by Stefan Sattler (but kitchen). We thank him very much.

The kitchen |
You get into the house by entering a fitted kitchen. In the cupboards you can find everything needed to cook and have meals. It is also equipped with:
- A four-ringed mixed cooker with oven
- A micro-wave oven.
- A refrigerator with freezer on top.
- An electric coffee machine. |

The garage |
The bathroom |
The garage is a bit too small for our modern cars so it is mainly used as a barn or stockroom. You will find several useful things there too:
- a tumble-drier
- a spare gas-bottle just in case...
- a barbecue set
- extra garden furniture.
- a few beach toys for children. (don't forget to put them back for others to enjoy them too.)
- a rod and reel if you feel like going fishing the bass or the mackerel which are quite common on our coasts (sorry, bait is not provided but you have a fork and bucket to dig and get some sea worm on the beach.)
- 2 bikes if you don't mind the hilly roads. (forbidden to use on the beach)
The bathroom and toilets are on the ground floor. You can find a washing machine in there too.
What is not included (and may be provided) |

or bath towels
Napkins and tea towels |
We may provide sheets and pillow cases for a small fee (10 euros generally) but we recommand that you should bring all your personal linen |

LElectric heating in all rooms .
Of course it is not necessary in the summer time.
In the contract our guests may use 100 kw a week, which is more than plenty for the season. Anyway, if this amount should be exceeded the extra would be charged, usual EDF price. (The meter is read on arrival)
When heating is needed (winter, spring) it is generally free and included in the price.

All is at your disposal, along with the terrace you can see on the right picture. In the background you can see the 300m2 lawn where children can play and everyone rest and watch the sea
